For the exhibition “The Sotiria Project – Memory and illness in visual discourse” (2010). Sotiria, Greece’s first public sanatorium (1903), was a classic “heterotopia of crisis”: a place of confinement, illness and treatment, but also of resistance and executions during the Occupation.
